Little Dresses for Africa
Sundays at 9:30am January 12 and 26
Join us for our next sessions in this long-established project at OSLC, where we have been creating dresses for girls in Africa since 2014. This initiative transforms donated pillowcases into beautiful dresses, utilizing the guidelines set forth by “Little Dresses for Africa” and embellishments like ribbons and buttons.
Help us support this global community project and contribute to the over 600 dresses that our volunteers at OSLC have created and donated. No prior sewing experience is necessary to participate.
Tidewater Youth Group Church Event
Sundays on Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 15, and Jan 19 between 4pm and 6pm
All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in a joint church event taking place at rotating churches across the Tidewater area. Each gathering will include worship, games, conversation, and a free meal, providing a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and community among the youth. Our Saviour Lutheran Church is happy to be part of this event and will host the session on January 19, 2024.

Annual Church Meeting
Sunday January 19th after the 9:30am Service
All are welcome to join our Annual Church Meeting on Sunday January 19th 2025. We will have one service only that Sunday at 9:30am followed by the annual meeting and finger food potluck immediately after.
During the meeting, we’ll review the Church’s accomplishments for 2024, approve the budget for 2025, go over Church’s goals for 2025, and elect new Council members.
If you’re interested in serving on Council, please inform Pastor Lucas or any of the current Council members so that your name can be included in the candidate list. Only members are allowed to run or vote for Council.
Winter Coat Drive
Month of January
During the month of January, Our Saviour Lutheran Church will be collecting new and gently used winter coats, gloves, and hats to donate to those in need.
Please help us provide warmth to those who may not have access to essential winter attire. Donations can be dropped off in the Narthex.
